Castle Engineering are recruiting for an entry level engineer / Trainee Engineer to join a fast-paced food manufacturing client based in Ellesmere, Shropshire.

Candidates who have recently left education and are looking for a hands on role within manufacturing are encouraged to apply as well as candidates who are working in manufacturing / production at the moment but looking to further develop their career.

The role:

• You will be working as part of the engineering team and will be responsible for stripping down production machinery.
• You will be involved in making modifications to the machinery and generally ensuring the machinery is in good working order.
• You will also be tasked with machine rebuilds.
• Carrying out maintenance / servicing to parts to ensure that the kit can be rebuilt in time for production.

This is  an entry level role and candidates who consider themselves practical and 'hands -on' should apply for this role. You will be given training and will be able to learn more specific engineering and maintenance techniques during your employment.

This is a nights based role working Monday to Friday- 11pm until 7am.
