Our client is a growing food producer based near Market Weighton and they are looking to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team. The production supervisor will report into the Production Manager and will be responsible for delivering all production operations and targets in terms of production planning, labour, performance and efficiency.  Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am until 5:30pm with a 12:30 finish on Fridays.

The successful Production Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Responsibility for delivering the daily and weekly planned production.
• To facilitate all production activities through the organisation, direction and control of the operations team to achieve timely delivery of Factory targets.
• Ensure accurate and appropriate communication of relevant information across all departments as required.
• To ensure strict adherence to Quality Standards and Quality System compliance.
• To drive improvements in Quality, Health and Safety, waste, cost and performance.
• To address and maintain all information and reporting systems.
• To update and report Warehouse stock position.
• To take responsibility for the role of Fire Marshall and First Aider.

You will be a motivational leader of operations staff who has a 'can-do' approach to their work. Our client is a small business and therefore you will need to be hands on day to day and willing to cover other roles where needed from time to time. In return you will work with a great team of people and be rewarded for your hard work and dedication to the business. 

You will be working Monday to Thursday 8:30am until 5:30pm and 8:30am until 12:30 Fridays

Starting salary is circa £26,000 dependant on experience.
