Our client is a market leading FMCG business who through growth are recruiting for an experienced Goods-In Operator to join their Warehouse team. The successful Goods-In Operator will ideally have worked within a fast moving, busy warehouse in the past and ideally have worked within the FMCG or food production sector.
The Role:
Working as part of the Warehouse team you will be responsible for:
- Booking in all delivered pallets into the internal system.
- Unloading pallets.
- Generate barcodes for each pallet and scan the pallet into relevant locations.
- Test all raw materials including temperature, moisture levels and for infestation.
- Report all incoming deliveries onto SAGE
- Complete hygiene checks ensuring all paperwork is complete.
- Report any racking damage to Warehouse Manager or H&S Manager.
- Assist with any other warehouse duties as required.
The candidate:
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous warehouse and Goods-In experience
- FLT Certification or the ability to complete FLT training internally
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload.
- Good IT skills
- Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude.
