Maintenance Engineer - Team Leader - Nights (VC4452) Leeds, England
Castle Engineering are working with a renowned food manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Leeds and our client is looking to employ a permanent Night Shift Engineering Team Leader to join their team. As the night shift team leader you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance as well as responding to breakdowns, allocating work load and completing daily reports for the engineering manager.
The shifts:
Monday to Friday - 7pm until 3:30am
The role:
- Working as part of a busy engineering team your key role will be to play a pivotal role in the planned maintenance for the business. You will be key in allocating and carrying out planned maintenance as well as ensuring stock is readily available.
- You will be instrumental in organising the PPM schedule and you will have excellent computer skills and be able to update the CMMS system.
- You will have a very good understanding of route cause analysis and be able to make recommendations to the Engineering Manager for improvements that need to be made to machinery.
- You will also enjoy working on continuous improvement projects and be able to identify key areas of improvement across the factory.
The role requirements:
You will be electrically biased but multi-skilled and be able to work a permanent night shift Monday to Friday. You will have a can do attitude and the ability to seek out better and more efficient ways of working. You will be a time served engineer and have a positive attitude towards your work.
