Castle Engineering are recruiting an experienced Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a fast paced production client based in Doncaster. This role is working on double days basis paying to £37,000
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the factory working on various high speed, semi automated machines.
- You will be responsible for attending breakdowns and diagnosing electrical faults and working with Production leaders to ensure production lines are up and running quickly.
- You will have excellent communication skills as you will need to allocate workload to your coworkers on shift and report back to the Engineering Manager the daily KPI's.
- Carrying out CI initiatives ensuring you are always looking for and recommending additional continuous improvements that could be made.
- You will also be responsible for machinery installations/ moves and modifications.
The candidate:
Suitable candidates will be a time served maintenance engineer with electrical experience and qualifications from a food manufacturing background ideally. You will be a team player and have a positive attitude to wards your work. You will be able to work under pressure and respond effectively to machinery breakdowns.
