Castle Engineering are recruiting an Engineering Team Leader / Senior Maintenance Engineer for a permanent night shift on the outskirts of Leeds. Our client is a fast paced food manufacturing business and due to continued growth they are recruiting a Team Leader / Senior Engineer for their night shift. The hours are Monday to Friday 7pm until 3:30am.

• As the Team Leader / Senior Engineer on shift you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring planned maintenance activities are carried out and scheduled ensuring availability of stock.
• You will ensure that routine repairs are carried out in accordance with the maintenance schedule and report back on any issues / breakdowns that could have been prevented.
• You will also be responsible for attending both electrical and mechanical breakdowns and diagnosing the faults in a timely manner.
• You will report to the engineering manager any findings after the completion of the shift ensuring any issues are properly communicated to the team.
• Ideally you will have plenty of experience of working on CI projects as your role will involve you identifying better and more effective ways of working in the factory.
• You will be involved in machine upgrades and installations.

The candidate:

You should be a multi skilled engineer with good electrical experience and ideally hold your 17th edition as well as being a time served engineer from a food production background. Ideally you will be multi-skilled, preferably with an electrical bias.
