A well-established, fast-paced food company based in the Malton area are recruiting an experienced Electrically biased Weekend Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. The successful Weekend Engineer will go into the manufacturing facility working on various machines, providing effective and efficient engineering support to the operating plant and production on a shift basis. 

As Weekend Engineer you will be required to:

• Maintain production machinery, such as conveyors, extruders, various packing machinery and fault finding associated PLC systems.
• Carry out planned maintenance tasks and deal with breakdowns as required.
• Deal with preventative maintenance and be able to fault find, diagnose and rectify electrical faults and problems where necessary.

Successful Weekend Engineers will be multi-skilled and ideally have an electrical bias.  I am keen to see your CV if you have a minimum of a level 3 engineering qualification and relevant electrical qualifications, ideally, have worked within an FMCG or production environment.

Salary is up to £32,000 plus additional overtime and excellent benefits on offer. You will work 8 and 12 hours shifts over Friday-Monday.
