Assistant Technical Manager - North Yorkshire Food manufacturing business to £45,000

Are you working in a Technical role with a food manufacturing business and looking for career development and a step up the ladder? Do you want to work in a senior management capacity? Are you ambitious with excellent management skills?

Our client is looking to recruit an Assistant Technical Manager to join their team in this newly created position. Suitable candidates will have excellent management skills and experience and be a strong leader and developer of skills.

Ideally you will have worked at either a Technical Management level and looking for a broad ranging opportunity or at Assistant Technical Manager level. This is a progressive role and therefore candidates who are ambitious are encouraged to apply.

The role:

• Day to day coordination of the technical process development team.
• Working with NPD on customer concept development ensuring commercial viability of products.
• Managing companies quality standards and procedures, monitoring existing quality systems.
• Manage BRC, customer audits and compliance inspections.
• Lead projects and ensure factory trials are factored into to production.

Requirements:

• HACCP Level 3
• Food Hygiene level 3
• Proactive, dynamic, highly motivated and results driven.
• Food manufacturing background.
