Castle Manufacturing and Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor/ Manager to join a growing FMCG business based on the outskirts of Selby. The successful Warehouse Supervisor will have experience supervising a team within a busy warehouse environment and hold a valid FLT certificate.

The key responsibilities for the Warehouse Supervisor/ Manager will include:

• Supervise loading pallets onto vehicles and ensuring pallets are put into correct bin locations as well as checking they have the correct labels.
• Oversea factory safety procedures and monitor safe behaviours
• Ensuring all FLT's Health and Safety requirements are met on each and every shift
• Recording of information allowing efficiencies to be measured
• Be familiar with Sage and learn WMS system and hand held scanners
• Good communication across departments to ensure smooth running of warehouse
• Report any stock shortages, racking damage or issues to management
• Assist with all warehouse duties
• Test all raw materials i.e. bulkers. These tests include temperatures, moisture's and infestation

To be successful in this role suitable candidates will have:

Worked within a busy warehouse/ distribution centre previously and be able to drive a FLT, ideally holding an FLT Licence. You will have been responsible for a team with good team building, problem solving and good communication skills. Must be IT literate and able to supervise and get involved with all aspects of warehouse duties.
