Castle Food Manufacturing are work with a highly progressive and growing food production business based in North Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a highly motivated and ambitious Production Manager to join their team. The successful Production Manager will be responsible for providing a seamless production output whilst meeting the highest level of customer satisfaction.

The successful Production Manager will be responsible for:

• Challenging current factory processes, suggest improvements and work with internal teams to deliver effective change which delivers operational improvement.
• Help to drive the culture change within the business, focusing on quality and creating and maintaining an innovative environment.
• You will be responsible for a large team of operations staff and as part of your role you will be responsible for performance management, delivering on training and development initiatives ensuring employees reach the highest levels of competency.
• You will be responsible for working within your set operational budget ensuring full control of all aspects of the budgeted requirements for the site.
• You will be responsible for the coordination of all production ensuring quality of products meets the highest specifications set out with major customers.
•  You will be tasked to deliver process improvement techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma and Seven Wastes in order to improve and sustain processes.
• You will be experienced in change management, evaluating, implementing and driving forward business improvements.

The ideal candidate will have worked within food manufacturing and have a management degree as well as extensive working knowledge of delivering change across a business. You will  have working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Seven Wastes to improve and sustain processes. You will be highly motivated, a self starter and ambitious and will be able to evaluate current operational processes and deliver change where needed.
