Castle Engineering Manager are recruiting for an Engineering Manager to join a large food manufacturing business based on the outskirts of York, North Yorkshire. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for a team of 20 engineers and will form part of the site Senior Management Team.

The successful Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

• The development and implementation of PPM's across the business.
• The implementation of key performance measures and the identification of training / development needs within the team.
• You will work alongside the Site Engineering Project Manager to ensure the successful deployment of your team across multiple ongoing and new projects, working to identify and secure CAPEX.
• You will drive CI initiatives within the team.

The ideal candidates will be working within a similar sized business and have experience of management large engineering teams. You will be able to manage your own budget, recruit and develop your team and be able to create a successful business relationship with key operational leaders. You will ideally be a chartered engineer with a background in the food sector.
