We are a fast growing food manufacturing business ideally situated just off the M62 and we are looking to recruit an experienced Raw Materials / Goods In Technician to join our growing purchasing and technical teams. The successful Raw Materials and Goods In Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team of 2 day to day whilst managing the arrival of stock and raw materials ensuring products, packaging an co-packed products meet supplier specifications.

Your role as the Goods In Technician will include:

• Overseeing the sites goods in team of 2; holidays, labour management, training and development.
• Ensuring materials arriving to site meet supplier specifications. Booking goods in onto the internal stock system.
• Sampling and inspecting raw materials ensuring goods are deemed acceptable and complying with H&S guidelines.
• Liaising with suppliers regarding non co,pliant materials and goods.

You will be a confident communicator who has experience of working with goods in and raw materials. ideally you will have worked in the food production sector and have a good knowledge of hygiene standards within the food industry. You will have sampled and inspected raw materials and be able work with suppliers on non confirming products and materials.
