Castle Engineering are recruiting for a strong and experienced Engineering Team Leader/ Assistant Engineering Manager to join a well known, growing and forward thinking fast paced food manufacturer based in the South Yorkshire area. Ideal candidates will currently be working within the food sector, be working within a leadership role and be looking to further advance their career into a management position. Candidates already working in a management capacity are encouraged to also apply for this role especially if you are looking for a larger team environment.
The role:
Supporting the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the coordination and management of a large engineering team.
You will have experience of rewriting and revising PPM's as well as working in detail on CMMS systems. You will understand the need for a robust and efficient PPM strategy and know how to review and redesign.
You will have excellent leadership skills and be able to engage your team and be able to deliver a consistent message regardless of shift.
You will drive continuous improvement projects and have demonstrable experience of this being able to detail your involvement and the outcome.
You will have played a key role in capital projects and be able to deliver on-time and within budget and ideally have an appreciation for how the budget is formed and agreed.
You will be a time served engineer with relevant engineering qualifications and have the desire to work within an ever evolving, growing, fast paced, continuous production environment.
