Production / Quality Supervisor (VC7271) Scarborough, England

Castle Food Manufacturing are recruiting an experienced Production & Quality Supervisor for a small, growing food production business based in Scarborough. Successful candidates will have worked within the food sector and have experience of leading production/ factory teams of 4 or more.
The successful Production / Quality Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Driving the business forward implementing new improved working practices
- Motivating the factory team providing direction, training and introducing new ways of working and thought processes.
- Promoting Continuous Improvement focusing on customer service and quality working with large retailers
- Ensuring Food Hygiene standards are met at all times
- Ensuring H&S is maintained
- Promoting Lean Manufacturing, focusing on reducing overhead costs, reducing waste, increasing
Candidate requirements:
- Trained in HACCP Food safety principles
- Trained in Internal Auditing.
- A proven record in achieving and maintaining quality accreditation (BRC)
- An ability to plan, organise and prioritise work in a busy working environment.
- Working within Food Manufacturing, ideally gained some experience within a High Risk department
Shifts:
Working on a continental shift pattern of days and nights but flexibility around shifts is needed to support work flow and season high trading.
