We are recruiting an experienced Production Supervisor to join our well established team working Monday to Friday 6-2 /2 -10pm. As the Production Team Leader you will have responsibility for managing a team of up to 10 production operatives and you will be responsible for managing their training and development as well as achieving daily production targets.

The successful Production Team Leader will be responsible for:

• Leading production on a designated flow line from prepping all the way through the process to booking out so that plan is achieved to standard with 95% of time being spent on the production floor.
• Work in conjunction with the Hygiene, Technical and HR departments to ensure all line teams are trained to standard and that skills are balanced across the line(s)
• Improve the productivity, safety and quality of the line together with its surrounding environment to enable the business to achieve its objectives
• Set a culture through your behaviour of process confirmation to maintain an audit standard environment
• Recruit, train and continually develop the line team members using Coaching, Training Within Industry and formal feedback techniques
• Manage the day-to-day procedures aspects such as appraisals, TMS records, Return to Work, holiday and disciplinary are performed in line with our stated procedures and to time

We are looking to speak with candidate who have previous experience of FMCG manufacturing operations (preferably food related). You will also have a proven track record of managing teams and knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques.

Shifts- A - Monday to Friday 6am until 2pm / 2pm until 10 pm- Salary to £30,000

Shifts- B - Tuesday to Saturday - 10pm until 6am.- Salary to £35,000
