Maintenance Engineer - Electrical bias (Vc4583) Ellesmere, England
Castle Engineering are working with a well known, successful food manufacturing business based in Ellesmere who are recruiting for 2 experienced Multi-skilled or Electrically biased Maintenance Engineers to join their expanding team. Our client is a market leader in their sector and they offer a market leading training and development program as well as competitive re numeration packages.
The role:
- Working as part of the engineering team reporting into the Shift Lead Engineer you will play an instrumental role in both reactive and planned maintenance activities across the factory.
- You will attend a variety of machinery breakdowns and diagnosing and rectify faults in a timely manner ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- You will carry out a range of planned maintenance tasks ensuring the online system is kept up to date and that stock is readily available.
- To record all spares removed from stores and request any non-stock spares for purchases.
- To Work with Engineering team and other departments to ensure the smooth running of the business and develop good working relationships with these departments.
- To communicate with production supervision to inform them of plan failure and expected duration.
- To assist the Engineering team with any required maintenance on site services, building fabrication.
The candidate:
You will be a time served engineer with relevant engineering qualifications and you will ideally have worked within the food sector or an other fast paced production environment. You will multi-skilled or electrically biased and have experience of working with PLC's, hydraulics and Pneumatics.
