Castle Engineering are recruiting experienced Maintenance Engineers to work with a leading food manufacturer based in York. After securing further site investment our client is looking to recruit 6 new engineers into the team as well as carry out site wide upgrades. Ideally candidates will be multi-skilled with an electrical bias.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Working across the factory as part of the team attending production breakdowns.
• You will be responsible for working through the planned maintenance schedule and carrying out any machinery/ wiring upgrades.
• You will be responsible for working through upgrades and installations of new and older machinery.

Suitable candidates will be time served, multi-skilled and have an electrical bias and relevant supporting qualifications. You will be happy working in a fast paced production environment and be able to think on your feet and have a positive attitude to wards your work. 

Shifts- Monday to Friday double days and Friday to Monday (Weekend shifts) All roles are salaried and pay additional overtime and come with a very competitive benefits package.
