Castle Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Engineering Stores Manager to join a large well known manufacturing business based in Doncaster. This role is part of the engineering team and candidates with experience of stock control and stores management are encouraged to apply especially if you have a good understanding of engineering terminology.

The Engineering Stores Manager will be responsible for:

• Responsibility for the engineering budget and actively seeking to reduce costs where possible. 
• Accountable for all stock control and document processing in the Engineering Stores.
• Ordering of all stock parts and daily engineering requirements using.
• Liaise with the Accounts Department to ensure invoices and delivery notes are processed correctly.
• Generate reports on a weekly and monthly basis with reference to usage and spend.

The candidate

• The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the stores processes, engineering terminology, have a background in working in a stores environment and be computer literate in the use of Microsoft Excel. Ideally you will have worked in an environment where you have to challenge suppliers and cot and have good negotiation skills.
