Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Bias
Castle Engineering are working with a forward thinking, sucessful food manufacturing business based close to Scarborough. Our client is a looking for a mechnically biased maintenance engineer who has some electrical experience to join their growing team. This role is working on a days/ afters/ nights shift pattern.
The role:
Working as part of a team of engineers you will be responsible for attending breakdowns in the plant and diagnosing faults as quickly as possible to ensure downtime is minimal.
You will be responsible for completing the monthly PPM schedule and for using the Shire PPM system.
Ordering parts and ensuring parts are available for works needed to be done.
Ideally you will be able to work on both mechanical and electrical faults and be able to think on your feet. You will be a positive team player who enjoys being busy and challenged daily.
The person:
You will be a qualified and time served engineer with a background in food manufacturing. ideally you will hold relevant food safety certificates.
