Castle Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a Scarborough based manufacturer. Our client is a market leader who is growing and expanding locally, they c an offer an excellent remuneration package, benefits and a fantastic place to work.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Working on a fast paced and highly automated production facility with new machinery. You are expected to have worked within the food sector previously and be able to work closely with the production team.
• You will be required to diagnose and rectify electrical faults and should have good knowledge and or experience of working on PLC's.
• You will be able to work in a timely manner and be able to carry out preventative maintenance as well as attend breakdowns to minimise downtime in the factory.

The role requires candidates to work within a 5s and lean manufacturing environment that is incredibly fast paced and demanding at times. Candidates should have this experience ideally

 You should have a positive attitude towards your work and be self motivated. You will be time served with relevant engineering qualifications (Min Level 3) and have a 'can-do' attitude towards your work and role. You will be working a shift pattern of both days and nights, 4 out of 8
