Castle Engineering are recruiting an experienced Electrically biased or multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast paced production client based on the outskirts of York. The successful Maintenance Engineer will be looking to work on a Monday to Friday days only shift pattern.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the factory working on various high speed, semi automated machines.
• You will be responsible for attending breakdowns and diagnosing electrical faults and working with Production leaders to ensure production lines are up and running quickly.
• You will have excellent communication skills as you will need to allocate workload to your coworkers on shift and report back to the Engineering Manager the daily KPI's.
• You will drive CI and work on a number of projects and machinery modifications and rebuilds.

The candidate:

The ideal candidate will be electrically biased or multi-skilled. You will be time served with an electrical qualification but also have some mechanical experience. You will understand the demands of working in a fast paced production environment and be happy working under pressure.

This role is working Monday to Friday- double days.
