Maintenance Engineer- Electrical Bias Multi-skilled (JR1309) Kingston Upon Hull, England

Our client is a forward thinking manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Hull. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team. Ideally you will be electrically biased but have both electrical and mechanical fault finding skills.

 

The role:

  • To provide an effective and efficient engineering support to operating plant and production on a rotating shift basis, working as part of a 2 man team
  • Carry out planned maintenance tasks and breakdowns as required
  • Updating and entering work onto a Frontline computerised maintenance system
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by the company
  • To comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Providing solutions to electrical faults and problems
  • Improve electrical systems on site
  • Optimize machinery availability
  • Responsibilities include maintaining production machinery, such as conveyors, extruders, various packing machinery, mixers and fault finding associated PLC systems.
  • Ensure that Health & Safety legislation is complied with

Suitable candidates will have worked within a fast paced manufacturing environment previously and ideally be electrically biased. You will be a time served engineer.

The hours of work will  be both days and nights - this role pays circa £31,500
