Maintenance Engineer - Days (VC4583) Ellesmere, England
Castle Engineering are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work on a day shift (Monday to Friday) for a well known and exceptional food manufacturing business in Ellesmere, Shropshire.
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance activities across the factory ensuring the machinery and equipment is up and running with little delays to production.
- You will be able to deal with both mechanical and electrical faults and diagnose quickly ensuring repairs are carried out.
- Using the computerised maintenance system you will be responsible for updating the PPM and ensuring availability of stock and spares.
- Responsible for machinery upgrades and modifications as well as carrying out continuous improvements projects across the factory.
The candidate:
You will be a time served Multi-skilled engineer with relevant engineering qualifications and you will ideally have worked within the food sector or an other fast paced production environment. You will be able to work to tight deadlines and be able to respond to technical breakdowns with a level headed attitude. Ideally you will have working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and understand root cause analysis.
