Castle Engineering are recruiting an experienced Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a fast paced production client based on the outskirts of York. The successful Maintenance Engineer will be looking to work on a Monday to Friday days only shift pattern and candidates who have successfully lead or supervised teams are encouraged to apply as this role can offer career progression for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the factory working on various high speed, semi automated machines.
• You will be responsible for attending breakdowns and diagnosing electrical faults and working with Production leaders to ensure production lines are up and running quickly.
• You will have excellent communication skills as you will need to allocate workload to your coworkers on shift and report back to the Engineering Manager the daily KPI's.
• You will drive CI and work on a number of projects and machinery modifications and rebuilds.

The candidate:

The ideal candidate will be career driven and looking to step upwards. You will be time served with an electrical qualification but also have some mechanical experience. You will understand the demands of working in a fast paced production environment and be happy working under pressure.

This role is working Monday to Friday- double days.
