Technical Sales Executive (RGB06) Exeter, England
| Salary: | GBP28000 - GBP35000 per annum + Car, 25 days hols |
Are you a technically-minded sales rep? Do you have experience selling service contracts? Up to £35k basic, £40k+ OTE and car!
The Company:
• Our client is a well-respected, service driven manufacturer, distributor and service partner for electric motors, pumps, fans, gearboxes, bearings, and inverters.
• These products are used in everything from power generation to pie manufacturing!
• A fantastic company with great earning potential and a driven sales director.
The Role:
• Covering Devon and Somerset you will be responsible for driving business from the Exeter branch selling the product, service and repair plans of the above listed items into engineering managers, lead engineers.
• Markets include food & beverage, water authorities, manufacturing, quarries, universities, facilities management, industrial and domestic customers.
• You will be making 5 outbound sales calls, 4 days a week, with an admin day at the branch.
• You will liaise with the members of branch staff from technical engineers to the internal sales department
• Sales will range from £600-£1000 per sale, but could be more or less based on the demands of the buyer.
The Candidate:
• You will be a tenacious, driven, and well-presented individual that will always ask for the sale.
• Our client is open on background, so experience in the pumps and motors world is not a requirement, although selling in the construction industry is ideal.
• Experience in selling maintenance or service contracts would be advantageous.
• A mechanical understanding would also be an asset to the successful candidate.
• You will be tenacious and willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent after-sales support to your client base.
The Remuneration:
• £28k-35k base salary, OTE £40k plus with commission paid monthly
• Vauxhall Insignia company car
• Laptop, mobile, fuel card and expense account
• 25 days holiday, pension scheme
