Senior Manager, New Video Marketing (43613) Atlanta, Georgia
This role is responsible for defining marketing plans that promote Cox new video services. These services include online and mobile TV viewing, DVR and on-screen program guides. The role also has responsibility for overseeing development of marketing campaigns and related programs which support the awareness, demand and usage of managed products. This role will engage with product development and management teams to provide marketing input into new product definition and current product updates. It will also engage with all field marketing teams to support their related marketing efforts and needs.
Define and develop marketing plans for online and mobile video, DVR and interactive program guides. These plans will include unit and revenue forecasts, target audiences, competitive environment and key marketing tactics. Communicate marketing plans to key stakeholders throughout the organization
Develop strategies to utilize new video products to drive customer acquisition and upgrade based on input from numerous subject experts including Cox field organizations
Adjust go to market strategies based on analysis of key metrics including subscriber and financial detail, customer usage and engagement, competitive changes and effectiveness of marketing initiatives
Partner with cross functional teams to define marketing needs and drive timely completion and implementation of required tactics
Provide input into new video product requirements and be a voice for the marketing team in product development and product management initiatives
Work collaboratively with other Cox departments (ex: supply chain, field services, customer care) to ensure the success of managed products
Initiate marketing research that will provide insights which inform messaging, pricing, and tactics to specific consumer segments
Manage a direct report (Manager of New Video Services). Provide guidance and direction in an effort to maximize productivity and growth
Other responsibilities as assigned
7+ years of experience required in related field (i.e. Marketing, Sales, preferably in the cable industry). 5+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree (MS/MBA or above)
BS/BA in related discipline strongly preferred (i.e. Marketing, Business, Advertising etc.). MBA preferred
Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, communication, organization skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
Experience in telecommunications industry desired
