Testing Coordinator Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Testing Coordinator for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC. The Testing Coordinator will follow the IS Testing Methodology (ISTM). Responsibilities include partnering with line-of-business teams, application teams, project managers, and others to coordinate test planning, execution, and communication activities. The successful Testing Coordinator will be gving a consolidated view of testing activities for the initiative across CIOs, applications, and lines of business, enabling a broader perspective to managing and mitigating testing risks and issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project/package level test planning sessions.
  • Create a Test Strategy and/or Package Test Plan and other agreed upon artifacts to support test planning.
  • Identify gaps, duplications, timelines, and ensuring cohesiveness.
  • Identify testing risks and issues and escalate appropriately.
  • Represent the project’s testing effort on project, LOB release, cross-organizational, and/or enterprise meetings.
  • Provide oversight for testing.
  • Monitor progress of code delivery to test environments with escalation as appropriate.
  • Facilitate test data requests and ensuring that test data set-up is progressing when testers need assistance.
  • Monitor completion of development of test scripts, testing progress, and testing defects.
  • Assess approved Change Requests as they come in for impact to overall testing.
  • Create project test status reporting including reporting for leadership. When requested, provide program level test status reporting and summary level metrics.
  • Lead project test status meetings and topic calls.
  • Provide liaison support to the business analyst and test teams to help gather testing details needed for traceability.
  • Facilitate test sign-off readiness.
  • Monitoring defects and assisting towards closure or migration to a later install.
  • Coordination of test sign-off approvals.
  • Creation of final test status and testing deliverables in case of audit or post-project research needs.
  • Serve as a point-of-contact for project-related testing deliverables and associated audit reviews.
