Individual contributor focused on regional account responsibility for key named channel partners and strategic accounts.  Manages and coordinates internal/external activities in field sales, application/project engineering and inside sales activities to drive business volume improvements with a specified range of products within a defined geographical region and target market segments.

Position Summary:

The Control Technologies Strategic Accounts Manager will report to ITT CT Industrial Sales Manager-Americas and be responsible for direct account sales in the US Gulf Coast and lower mid-west territory. This position will preferably be located in Houston, TX.


Successful candidate will have a BS/BA degree (BSME or BSEE is helpful) with 4+ years of technical industrial sales/ PLM experience; Oil & Gas/Power industry experience is a plus.  An equivalent combination of education and experience is suitable.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and drawings.  Ability to respond to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write technical proposals and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management and customers. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and communicate with a diverse global group of customers and employees.  Must be capable of effectively utilizing business software programs (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, CRM etc.)
