Python Developer – Systematic Trading – Hedge Fund

An opportunity exits for an exceptional Python developer to join a market leading hedge fund working on the design and development of the full systematic trading function across High – Medium Frequency (HFT) trading. The role will be working on everything from Low Latency feeds development to model development and offers the successful Python developer a great opportunity to learn more about the world of HFT / Systematic Trading.

Core development is done in python and therefore an exceptional OO Python development background would be preferred, although C++ / Java candidates happy to learn python will be considered. The successful Python candidate would also require strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle).

Skills Required :-

The successful Python developer should have:

- Excellent Knowledge of Python
- Proficient on Linux and Windows Platforms
- Strong Knowledge of Database Modelling / Technologies
- A Keen interest in the financial markets

Any Experience with No-SQL (Eg MongoDB) would be beneficial
