Business Development Manager – Electronic Components

My client is an international well established distributor of industry leading Electronic Components. The business are recognised for providing data driven supply chain solutions to customers across the EMEA region. Due to continued Success, they have major growth plans for this upcoming year and are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager based in Manchester.

The role will include:

• You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across The U.K.
• Developing relationships with the company’s key accounts
• Sales management, lead generation, pitching, negotiation and closing deals
• You will take control of the full sales cycle from start to completion
• Working closely with sales management on forecasting and sales planning

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven track record in a similar position, coming from an Electronics/ Engineering/ IT/ Technical background.
• Knowledge within Electronic components would be beneficial
• Previous experience in a Face2Face sales role
• The ability to pitch to key decision makers within a business
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Persistent and proactive sales approach
