Software Engineer MS.Net, C#, SQL Server, VPN; Thame, £45k - £50k
My client is a national provider of motor products and are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Software Engineer. You will have opportunity to be creative and imaginative in designing a new sales reporting system; writing robust and reliable interfaces between the new and current system used.
Your new reporting system will be required to produce numerous different option for presenting data to the user, including paper based (PDF) report layouts as well as graphs etc. The system should be engaging to use, easy to understand and designed to work well on both a tablet and desktop browser.
You will also have the opportunity to become the key business holder for all IT systems, bringing the current external IT support in house.
Skill Set:
·Microsoft.Net C#
·Microsoft SQL Server Database
·Windows Server Admin (currently Small business Server 2008 and 2008 R2)
·Windows Desktop Support - approx. 20 local users running Windows 7 x 64, with some remote user laptop support
·Office 365 email administration
·Internet, VP and router support
·New hardware acquisition, configuration and implementation
