We are seeking an experienced QC Technician the Petroleum Industry-Los Angeles/Vernon area.
Primary Accountability Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor:
Maintain LSC's commitment to a Safe Work Environment.
Maintain and observe Laboratory's Safe Practices and House-Keeping. Maintain cleanliness of
laboratory instruments and glass wares.
Set up, perform testing for: incoming raw materials; outbound; in-process; finished, and packaging
samples. Includes product testing for LSR's and project studies.
Provide timely, accurate records & test data.
Issues product releases (supervision).
Maintain file records.
Maintain laboratory solvent supply and wastes.
Retention of product samples, and maintenance of laboratory retain area.
Essential Responsibilities:
Sets up, and performs required test inspections of products at various stages of the production
processes, records and compiles accurate and final data into product batch records, and files.
Under the instruction of the laboratory supervisor, issues product releases to production.
Maintain laboratory instrument cleanliness, glass wares, solvent supplies and wastes, and general
house-keeping of the laboratory.
Maintain product sample retention and storage.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Minimum of two years of college, and an equivalent laboratory experience and or course work are required. Incumbent must have good
mathematical, written and verbal communication skills and background.
