Junior Electrical Project Manager

Salary: NZD70000 - NZD90000 per annum + Benefits


This market leading client of ours is an Electrical Contractor operating out of the East Tamaki area. They are part of a franchise group that consists of several independent franchisees operating in various capacities nationwide.This branch in particular is currently engaged in industrial electrical contracting, maintenance and fault finding. Due to growth and expected forward workload, they are expanding their project management team.

This newly created position is a salary based role suited to you if you have experience in either the Commercial or Industrial Electrical sectors with an aptitude for Project Management.

Some of your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Assisting the estimation team with specification of tenders.
  • Develop project specifications and preliminary design with the engineering team.
  • Client liaison.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of project works.
  • Assist the installation team with project delivery when needed.
  • Assist the Operations Manager with forward planning of resource requirements.
  • Oversight of Health and Safety documentation and management on sites.
  • Produce and collate project deliverables and documentation.

Ideally, you will have a formal Project Management qualification. This will be in the form of Diploma, National Certificate or Degree but for the right person this role could be suited to someone coming from the tools who has the passion and drive to progress into Project Management.
