Singapore Coverage Head - Investment Banking (BBBH676578) Singapore
Our client is a well known International Bank with an established investment banking presence across south east Asia. We are looking for an experienced Director or MD to join as Singapore Coverage Head.
As a key member of the south east Asian Investment Banking origination team based in Singapore, you will be responsible for advising on a portfolio of Singaporean clients. In addition you will:
- Have an existing network of C-suite clients within the mid and large cap Singaporean corporates space
- Originate deals ranging across M&A, ECM, DCM and structured debt
- Support client business development by driving the development of marketing materials and pitches
- Be a leading member of the Investment Banking team and manage a pool of VPs/ Analysts/ Associates
- Report directly to the Regional Head
- Oversee the development of financial analysis by a team of junior bankers
- Liaise with senior company management, critically analyse the situation and formulate expert advice
- Where required work on cross-border mandates and work across time zones
- Maintain a constant awareness of developments and issues within the market
You will be a highly motivated and driven professional with previous experience in investment banking coverage or corporate banking coverage in Singapore (with a exposure to Investment banking products M&A, ECM etc). You will have well developed client interaction skills and an existing well established network of corporate clients in Singapore.
