Lead Application Program Interface (API) Developer Summary:

Signature Consultants has an opportunity for an API Developer.  In this role the candidate leads requirements analysis, high level/low level designs, development and implementation of data integration solutions involving suit of Informatica products.  Must have the ability to lead multiple projects concurrently each with competing deadlines.  The candidate will serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource, providing technical knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. The resource will coordinate with deployment and support teams and ensure projects are successfully deployed into Testing and Production environments.

Qualifications:

• Typically 5-7 or more years of data delivery/integration experience
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Has the knowledge of RESTful API, OpenShift/Spring Boot best practices and standards as well as standard software development lifecycle experience
• Must have an understanding of our ability to quickly grasp technology concepts
• Solid quantitative, analytical, process development, facilitation skills, and organizational skills required
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, software development and work management skills are essential
• Ability to work in both AGILE and Waterfall initiatives
• Experience in designing, developing and deploying Real time and Near real time & batch data integration solutions
• Work with people in different time zones and teams

Required Skills:

• Autonomous/Self Starter
• Able to understand strategic objectives as well as deliver tactical solutions
• Ability to coordinate with multiple application partners, business, other IT managers, architecture, internal stakeholders and developers in providing solution suggestions and constructive feedback
• Must have a strong Java , J2EE
• Must have spring, spring boot, openshift, REST/SOAP API skills
• Extensive Experience in Exadata, Oracle SQL
• Experience in job scheduling tools as in Autosys
• Usage of MS Office tools
• Understanding of Information Security policies and implement them
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Thrives in an exciting, challenging, dynamic environment

Desired Skills:

• Understanding Java/Mulesoft integration, Docker containers.
• Understanding of ETL tools as in Informatica, PLSQL.
• Understanding of Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Scala, Kafka, HBase
• Experience in Agile development
