Customer Service (BK3703) Malton, England

Salary: GBP7.83 - GBP8 per hour

THE POSITION:

Castle Business Support are looking for a customer service assistant for our client in the Ryedale area.

This is a temporary role initially with an opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. You will be working as a member of a small team within a customer services department and will be responsible for ensuring customer's needs and expectations are satisfied.

 

The role will consist of:

  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints, investigating and solving customer's problems.
  • Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and instant messenger.
  • Authorising refunds for customers.
  • Ensuring accurate records are kept of communications with customers.
  • Keeping up to date with new developments in customer service.
  • Liaising with our shops regarding stock queries and measurements.
  • Working weekend shifts on a set rota.
  • Measuring garments.
  • Taking payments for customers.
  • Completing returns paperwork.

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience of working within a Customer Service environment.
  • Dealing with customers both over the phone and by email.
  • Be able to see queries from the customer’s point of view always putting the customer first.
  • You will be well organised with excellent communication and IT skills.
  • You must have a positive attitude to your work.
