THE POSITION:
Castle Business Support are looking for a customer service assistant for our client in the Ryedale area.
This is a temporary role initially with an opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. You will be working as a member of a small team within a customer services department and will be responsible for ensuring customer's needs and expectations are satisfied.
The role will consist of:
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints, investigating and solving customer's problems.
- Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and instant messenger.
- Authorising refunds for customers.
- Ensuring accurate records are kept of communications with customers.
- Keeping up to date with new developments in customer service.
- Liaising with our shops regarding stock queries and measurements.
- Working weekend shifts on a set rota.
- Measuring garments.
- Taking payments for customers.
- Completing returns paperwork.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience of working within a Customer Service environment.
- Dealing with customers both over the phone and by email.
- Be able to see queries from the customer’s point of view always putting the customer first.
- You will be well organised with excellent communication and IT skills.
- You must have a positive attitude to your work.
