Business Development Manager (BK3003) Scarborough, England
The Position:
Castle Business Support are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Business Development consultant based in the Scarborough area within the Education sector. This is a temporary position for up to 3 months and for the right candidate could potentially lead to a permanent position.
The role will be to develop new business, negotiate, prepare proposals and be the point of
contact for employers engaging with the project.
To be considered for the role previous Business Development and Sales management experience is essential. You will be well organised and a self-motivator with excellent sales and communication skills. You must have be able to use initiative, have a positive attitude to your work and have enthusiasm.
Duties:
- Identify and engage with appropriate clients through cold calls, networking, marketing campaigns, social media and face to face meetings
- Effectively manage a caseload of employers whilst undertaking business development and
business growth activities - Ensure an established and proactive pipeline at all times
- Respond efficiently to leads and enquiries
- Maintain up-to-date information on all customer interactions in the CRM database
- Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance
Requirements:
- Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Previous recent experience within Business Development or high level Sales
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Confident communication skills
- Self -motivator

- Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
