Customer Service Adviser

Customer Service Adviser (BK2944) Scarborough, England

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our client based in Scarborough as a part time Customer Service Advisor, our client is one of the UK’s largest designer menswear retailers.  This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. You will be working as a member of a small team within a customer services department and will be responsible for ensuring customer's needs and expectations are satisfied.

Typical duties will include;

  • Answering customer telephone calls and dealing with a range of queries/complaints.
  • Answering customer queries/complaints using Instant Messenger.
  • Replying to customer emails.
  • Measuring garments to provide accurate sizing for customers.
  • Completing customer return paperwork.
  • Dealing with refunds / exchanges.
  • Sending PayPal requests.
  • Liaising with clients for customer returns/ faults etc.
  • Setting up orders.
  • Taking payments via Sagepay.
  • Tracking parcels and speaking to delivery courier to chase up deliveries when required.
  • Using an internal built system to answer various queries/order details

Requirements:

  • Requirement to cover sickness/absence on weekend rota
  • Experience in telephony customer service is required
  • Friendly and outgoing manner
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Be able to see queries from the customer’s point of view always putting the customer first.
  • You will be well organised with excellent communication and IT skills.
  • You must have a positive attitude to your work.
  • And also a flexible approach to work various shifts as and when required.
  • Required to work a minimum of one weekend per month during non sale periods and two weekends per month during sale. Saturday or Sunday. 9-5 or 11-7pm
  • Requirement to work Bank Holidays as needed.
  • Requirement to cover sickness/absence on weekend rota.
  • Required to work one late evenings per month as part of a rota and two evenings per month during sale. The late shift is a 10pm finish.
