Water Treatment Field Technician (BBBH128115) Baytown, Texas
The Field Technician performs checks of water and wastewater treatment systems and facilities. Class C Water or Class C Wastewater certification required.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
-Observes and monitors equipment and operations
-Assists with performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
-Assists with water and wastewater line repairs and new line installation
-Assesses problems, diagnoses equipment failures
-Perform checks on water wells, lift stations, etc.
-Responsible for compliance with TCEQ or NPDES permit.
-Operates belt presses and ensures that facility is clean at all times
-Performs daily analyses of effluent samples and makes necessary adjustments
-Other duties as assigned
