Web Content Editor
The Opportunity
As the Web Content Editor for this leading international company, you will be responsible for editing, creating and updating marketing and editorial content across all sections of the company’s websites. The ideal candidate will be personable, deadline driven and flexible to changing priorities.
The Role
- Responsible for all online copy and content of the company’s websites
- Updating the website at regular periods with new statistics and information
- Ensuring all content changes meet required publishing deadlines
- Writing, editing and reworking copy for websites for a variety of audiences
- Proofreading all materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency, house style, brand guidelines and tone-of-voice
- Assisting in building and testing new website pages
- Liaising frequently with other departments and researching new content ideas
- Having creative input into website design
The Person
- 18 months + experience in a web content role
- Experience in using Adobe CQ5 or a similar CMS package
- Strong attention to detail and used to a process of checking and double-checking
- experience of building pages within a CMS with a consideration for the user journey
- Basic understanding of HTML principles
- Financial experience and knowledge (desirable)
The Package
Up to £26,000 (dependant on experience) + bonuses + excellent benefits
