Production Engineer / Systems Support Engineer
The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity to join a global advertising and production agency based in the heart of London as a Production Engineer / Systems Support Engineer. Working in a small, friendly team with a family atmosphere, you will be heavily involved with exciting post production applications within a dynamic agency who remain true to their roots!
The Role
You will be expected to support the production users and workstations, with the aim of providing a stable and fully functioning production environment, either onsite or remotely.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting systems as required
- Responsible for the implementation of new production environments
- Setting up on-location editing workstations
- Setting up the technology in new joint venture facilities
- Completing project work as set by the Senior / Lead Engineers
- Provide first & second line support to the suites within EMEA
- Escalate and formally report faults to specialist engineers and third party support
- Taking responsibility for any on call / rota systems required
- Occasional telephone support / onsite support at weekends and other out of hours production work.
The Person
You will have at least 1-2 years experience in a similar production environment, with a broad working knowledge of post production processes and services. You will also have a positive and “can-do” service attitude towards problem solving and tight deadlines. You will also be able to adapt to new working methods & practice technology advances, as well as being confident either working independently or as part of a team.
