The Role

• Manage and lead a team of SEO copywriters, ensuring that SEO targets are met with excellent content across all media and channels
• Write engaging articles and pages for the company website, outreach campaign content, YouTube video scripts and more – as well as optimise existing web content
• Own major cross-disciplinary SEO content projects from start to finish
• Generate ideas, develop content strategies, flesh out briefs, drive delivery, share progress, overcome obstacles and celebrate successes
• Oversee the accuracy, tone and quality of SEO copy. Provide clear creative direction, decision-making and sign-off as required
• Work directly with stakeholders, making sure that all content meets the needs of websites, compliance and SEO teams
• Continually develop knowledge and understanding of the principles of excellent SEO copywriting and copywriting in general

The Person

• Minimum of 3-5 years writing / editing within a commercial environment
• A proven Senior Copywriter who is well organised and efficient. Exceptional attention to detail is a must for this role
• Good knowledge of writing for SEO purposes
• Delivery-conscious and resilient team leader, willing to help colleagues at all times
• Versatile creative thinker, full of ideas as well as the motivation to see them through
• A strong communicator, capable of making complex propositions easy-to-understand
• Capable of coming up with creative content ideas that achieve the SEO team’s goals, without compromising tone of voice or company values
