Senior Edit Assistant / Media Transfer Technician
The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Edit Assistant / Media Transfer Technician to join this global advertising production agency and oversee all the operations and work being delivered within the Media Transfer department. You will take lead role in assisting with the recruitment of new additions to the department and ensuring that new recruits are trained to the highest standard.
The Role
- Oversee all the operations within the Media Transfer department
- Assist with the recruitment of new additions to the department
- Ingest, quality control and deliver TV commercials for broadcast
- Scope, waveform and audio monitoring
- QC’ing of After Effects projects to determine suitability for adaptation
- Encoding and transcoding files using Adobe Media Encoder to client specs
- Standards conversions using Blackmagic Teranex & software standard converters
- Overall responsibility for the technical quality of files created for distribution
The Person
- Solid experience in a Media Transfer capacity in a post-production facility and/or agency
- Proven background in broadcast QC and delivery
- A proven track record in management and training within a similar role
- A working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Consistent attention to detail and excellent time management skills
