Content Writer
The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity for a Content Writer to help this FTSE 250 Company create content for tender questionnaires and bids. You will be responsible for composing, reviewing and editing tender response content, articles, standard policies, and case studies ready for use by the business.
The Role
- Manage and meet all deadlines for writing content to tender submissions and questionnaire completion
- Create work that is engaging and active to the audience whilst addressing the needs of the client
- Assist in achieving target through quality submissions that improves the conversion ratio from submission to success
- Ensure the win themes are clearly identified and laid out in the bid documentation to ensure win potential
- Develop and update a library of information, to ensure sufficient and adequate data capture
- Stay abreast of prospects and competition to ensure responses deliver the strategy clearly
- Ensure all stakeholders receive regular feedback and notice of upcoming activity
- Build solid relationships across the business to deliver deadlines on information
- Keep up to date with business ventures and services, competitors, relationships with customers, clients and suppliers, and market evolution
- Bring new ideas and innovations to increase and maintain market position/closing ratios
- Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures
- Ensure that the correct financial procedures are followed
The Person
- 5+ years’ experience in a Content Writer / Copywriter / Writer capacity
- Experience with tender processes / bid submissions / writing bespoke bids etc.
- Degree level in Journalism or English (desirable)
- Experience with digital content management and CMS
- Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge and ideally InDesign
- Excellent time management for completion of work to deadlines
- Ability to network with colleagues to achieve content
The Locations
London & Birmingham (plus travel to other areas of the UK)
The Package
£40,000 - £60,000 (negotiable depending on experience) + benefits
