Position Title: Software Developer
Reports To: Software Development Manger
Salary: £25'000-£35'000 per annum
General Overview:
Represent the full-breadth of IT capabilities and perform implementation of solution design and development, computer telephony integration, for internal and external customers.
Technical: Essential Skills:
- Required to have at least 2-3 years working experience
- C#.Net
- ASP.Net (Framework 4 and above)
- XML
- Javascript (including jQuery and jQuery UI)
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 to present version
- Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (MSSQLRS).
- Competent in architecting client-side apps and web applications
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To work in collaboration with colleagues within the organisation to identify best solutions/approaches
- Assist with technical estimates internally for solutions development and support,
- Monitor and maintain Software Development helpdesk function
- Responsible for solution analysis, development, and user experience
- Perform: analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation
- Required to interface with internal/external customers to gather requirements
- Perform database administration in terms of modifications to the structure, ensuring encryption of sensitive data, manipulating and cleansing data as appropriate
- Create test plan and perform unit level testing
- Develops interfaces between company and client information systems
- Resolve technical problems pertaining to the use of existing information
- Generates end-user support documentation and training material
- Will be required to work out of hours when business requires
- Ensure all incidents, change requests and problems are logged appropriately
- Continuously evaluate and discover new technology solutions,
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers
- Ability to commute on a regular basis via motor vehicle and, as necessary, via airplane
