Our client is a main contractor specialising in bulk earthworks/land development that has operated and thrived for over 60 years in the Auckland Civil market.
They have a solid reputation for delivering challenging and dynamic projects on time and to a high standard, they have a high performing team, a great company culture and are known for their ability to retain staff as they reward hard work and commitment with real opportunity.
They have a strong pipeline of high profile projects fast approaching and need a Project manager with no less than 5 years management experience in New Zealand to help lead their high performing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Report to Contracts Manager and Operations Manager
- Manage Subcontractors and Job risk analysis.
- Responsible for the management of the contract and principal contact with the Principal or Engineer.
- Prepare Monthly reports/claims
- Assist in staff training and development
- Keeping good working relationships with all subcontractors and suppliers
- Complying with all legal requirements, Resource Management Act, Health and Safety in Employment Act and Work safe, Building Act
- Among numerous other duties
To be successful:
- You will need to have significant experience in bulk earthworks, land development, drainage and civil infrastructure projects.
- You will need a proven track record of successfully managing large civil projects in New Zealand.
- You must currently be in New Zealand and be eligible to work.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a highly experienced and passionate Project Manager with experience in previously managing high profile civil projects. You will need to be very self-motivated, with the ability to organise and motivate the work force to perform to their full potential.
In return for your hard work and dedication you will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package, between 130k-150k per anum + package, dependent on your experience and expertise.
