Quantity surveyor (BBBH5277) Auckland, New Zealand

Our client is a medium sized main contractor that work on Retail Fit Out, Hospitality Fit Out, Apartments and Student Accommodation and they seek to employ a Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis for a minimum of 6 months.
The company is seeking to employ a Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience within the commercial construction market in Auckland, to be successful you must have valid work rights in NZ.
Responsibilities:
- Cost Planning
- Procurement & tender evaluation
- Negotiation & preparation of contract documents
- Valuations
- Cost reporting
- Final accounts
- Contract administration
- Management of Quantity Surveying/Procurement Process.
Requirements:
- 6 + years’ experience within Quantity Surveying, preferably with a main contractor
- Ideally experience in managing the commercial function of large commercial projects.
- New Zealand experience is essential
- A residency visa or citizenship is an essential criterion of this role due to it being a temporary/contract position.
