Brilliant opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join a tier 1 Contractor with a massive pipeline of significant infrastructure projects fast approaching.

They have completed an impressive portfolio of projects to date and with an exciting pipeline coming up in the near future, which has created the need to bring on an experienced and industrious Site Engineer to join their progressive and hardworking team.

The right candidate must have strong exposure to earthworks, water infrastructure, roading and have no less than 4 years’ experience in New Zealand.

Key tasks you will undertake will include:

• Managing parts of construction project.
• Supervising subcontractors.
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings.
• Ensuring the project meets agreed specifications.
• Providing technical advice.
• Problem solving.
• Ensuring all Health & Safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
• QA documentation.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Have a BE qualification or Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Excellent problem-solving ability.
• Strong work ethic.
• A good health and safety related track record.
• At least 4 years working experience in New Zealand.
• Strong exposure to earthworks, water infrastructure and roading
