Benefits of becoming a Self-Employed Contractor

With 2019 commencing, the market for Self Employed Contractor work shows major signs of being one of the fastest growing employment sectors in New Zealand. It is common knowledge that the Auckland market is candidate and sub-contractor scarce and there is becoming more of a demand for Self Employed Contractors to meet the Construction Company’s increasing contractual and project demands.

This leads to major opportunity for candidates seeking a more mature and flexible way of working as opposed to purely permanent based employment. The benefits of being self-employed are endless some of which include getting paid a premium for the hours you work as well as more flexibility and associated tax benefits.

It is a highly lucrative, stimulating form of employment for those individuals seeking a better work life balance or perhaps also the ability to work on private projects.
