Land Surveyor (Earthworks projects) (BBBH5035) Auckland, New Zealand
| Salary: | NZD80000 - NZD90000 per annum + Vehicle |
Our client is a well-known earthworks contractor that has been operating and thriving for over 14 years in Auckland, they are known for their staff retention because of their focus on personal development/ growth and have a consistent pipeline of both sub-divisional and bulk earthworks projects fast approaching.
Due to this consistent growth in projects they have the need to bring on an experienced and highly motivated Land Surveyor to join their team.
Duties and responsibilities:
- All aspects of surveying including using GPS, Total Station and other surveying instruments / equipment
- Producing plans including topographical, cut / fill, as-builts and plans to support claims / variations
- Producing Volume reports for earthworks
- Assisting site personal with general site needs, including set outs, heights and survey control
- Assisting quantity surveyors / estimators / management with estimating, variations and payment claims
- Ensuring survey equipment is maintained, calibrated and kept in good working order
General Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen!
- Fluent English written and verbal skills!
- Must have the right to work in New Zealand!
- Must currently reside in New Zealand!
